Through this, owners of <em>Starfield <\/em>will be able to swap between Xbox Series X|S and PC,\u00a0without having to buy copies of the game for both systems.<\/p>\n<p>That update was noticed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/starfieldbeyond\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Starfield Beyond<\/a> Twitter account, a profile that (as the name heavily implies) chronicles all things related to Bethesda&#8217;s upcoming space epic. This also means your saves will carry over between systems, so you could literally start playing on one and smoothly transition to the other without any fuss.<\/p>\n<p>With <em>Starfield<\/em> offering the Xbox Play Anywhere feature,\u00a0it pretty much means you can have two copies of the game with one purchase. Maybe not everyone will benefit from being able to switch playing &#8220;<em>Skyrim<\/em> in space&#8221; between console and PC, but it&#8217;s a neat little bonus if you&#8217;re into that sort of thing.<\/p>\n<p>I think it&#8217;s safe to say we&#8217;re pretty much ready for <em>Starfield<\/em> now. We&#8217;ve had everything from the game&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/starfield-system-requirements-minimum-and-recommended\/\">PC specs<\/a> to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/this-1000-page-starfield-compendium-should-keep-you-busy-until-september\/\">1,000-page compendium<\/a> outlining as much info as possible. Seems like all that&#8217;s left is for the game to launch.
